At Innov8social, we believe that learning, problem-solving, and social entrepreneurship come alive when people gather—across ages, disciplines, and communities.

Our Innov8social Events & Gatherings Calendar brings together Impactathon® experiences, Pineapple Friends author events, and community collaborations that center curiosity, creativity, and civic imagination.

Whether you’re a parent, educator, community organizer, student, or lifelong learner, this calendar offers a window into how ideas are explored, tested, and shared—in real places, with real people.

What You’ll Find on the Innov8social Calendar

The calendar highlights a mix of interactive workshops, public talks, festivals, and partner events, including:

🌱 Impactathon® & Impactathon for Kids

Hands-on, guided experiences where participants explore real-world challenges—from environmental issues to community systems—and practice creative problem-solving, teamwork, and pitching ideas.
These sessions are designed to be welcoming to first-time participants, especially youth.

📚 Pineapple Friends Author Readings & Workshops

Storytimes, readings, and creative workshops built around the Pineapple Friends children’s book series—supporting critical thinking, empathy, and innovation for kids and families.

🤝 Community & Partner Events

Collaborations with schools, libraries, bookstores, nonprofits, small business expos, and regional conferences—creating spaces to connect across sectors and generations.

Why We Share a Public Calendar

This calendar isn’t just logistical—it reflects how Innov8social approaches impact:

  • Transparency: showing where and how learning happens

  • Access: making events visible to families, educators, and communities

  • Momentum: connecting individual gatherings into a broader movement

Many events are free or low-cost, and some are intentionally small to support deeper engagement.

Locations & Reach

Innov8social events span Washington State and California, with gatherings in cities such as Tacoma, Bellevue, Gig Harbor, Redmond, Kenmore, Irvine, Lake Tahoe, Spokane, and beyond.
Each event is rooted in local context while contributing to a growing national conversation around social innovation and education.
